At the Law Office of Stephen J. Kecskes, I dedicate the majority of my practice to helping clients resolve their family law issues. I have been practicing law in the Virginia Beach area since 1985. I know all the benefits the law provides to spouses, parents and children in Virginia divorce cases and I work hard to obtain outcomes that meet my clients' goals and objectives.

I also have extensive experience with military divorces. I have helped many members of the military through the unique requirements presented by military divorces compared to civilian divorces. I also provide services preparing simple wills, advance medical directives and powers of attorney. Wills are very important documents to have in place so your assets, family heirlooms, retirement accounts and other items can be distributed the way you wish upon your death. Powers of attorney and advanced medical directives help to ensure that your personal affairs, medical care and other considerations are handled in the way you wish in the event that you are unable to make those decisions for yourself.
